When do you charge a deposit?
We don't charge your credit card until a car confirms that they will pick up your car. Many companies charge immediately. That is against Visa, MasterCard and American Express regulations!
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel without penalty at any time, as long as we haven't dispatched your order to a car. Most companies charge you a cancellation fee.

1. Is the company government licensed? Every auto transport broker and each carer is given an MC number by the Federal Highway Administration office. Our MC# is 425579
2. What about insurance? This is a very confusing aspect. The caring company which hauls your car carries the insurance for your shipment, not the broker. Some caring companies require you, the customer, to pay the deductible if there is damage to your Vehicle. We ONLY use caring companies who pay the deductible, not passing it on to the shipper!
3. What is the company's track record? Make sure that no matter which company you choose that you take the time to carefully check them out. The Federal Highway Administration (which investigates claims) is located in Washington D.C. They keep files on all companies. Also call the Better Business Bureau in the city closest to you. Make sure you give them the actual telephone number of the company to be checked out, not the name of the company! There are too many companys using similar names!
4. Are you quoted an exact delivery time or day? There is NO WAY any company can quote you an exact pickup or delivery time or day. Common sense dictates that bad weather conditions, bad road conditions, driver illness and fatigue, mechanical breakdowns, etc., can determine and even effect changes in pickup and delivery times.
We want you to know that our shipping personnel are the best trained in the industry with many years of combined experience. The lessons we have learned over those years gives you, the shipper, a huge advantage. We are also very knowledgeable regarding the rules and regulations of the Federal Highway Administration. Our first commitment to you is to ship your car in the safest manner possible. This includes placing it with the right carrier so that we minimize the chance of any damages. Even though all the cars we use have cargo and liability insurance, it is very important that your vehicle be dispatched to a carrier that has the most experience shipping your type of vehicle.
We sincerely hope that you choose to ship with us. We realize that this is a tough decision to make with so many choices. We are always available to give you more information or handle any special requests which you may have regarding your particular move. We will try to meet or beat rate quotes of any other company, as long as the service which they are offering is of the same caliber as our service is. If we can't meet their rates---or they quote too low, then you could be booking with an unlicensed broker or carer, or uninsured carer. |
